CURICULLUM

St Peter and Paul Murinduko boys aims at offering all our students a broad and balanced curriculum that holistically equips them for life and productivity.

  • The school offers 12 subjects.in form 1 & 2, each student takes 12 compulsory subjects. 

  • Form 3 and 4 comulsory subjects are English, Kiswahili, Mathematics, Chemistry, Christian Religious education. The electives are Biology, Physics Geography, History, Agriculture, Business Studies and Computer Studies.
  • The teaching fraternity is composed of committed and passionate teachers who dedicate their time, skills and experience to nurture the boys.

LIBRARY AND ACADEMIC MATTERS.

Regular teaching and learning is undertaken between 8 am and 4:10pm daily, from Monday to Friday. Every child must attend all classes. All teachers attend all scheduled lessons. Whenever there good reasons to miss some, make up classes are organized.

There is a well-equipped library with all the revision books, so students don’t require to buy such. Schools program starts at 5:0 0am when boarders wake up for morning preps, then at 6:30am day scholars’ jet in and teaching starts as follows:

  • 5:00am-6:30am  – morning preps.
  • 7:30am – 8:00am Assembly/Class meeting/House meeting
  • 8:00am – 4:10pm- Normal lessons
  • 4:10 – 5:00pm-games/cleaning/societies
  • 5:00pm-6:00pm – Evening classes (Tuesday, Thursday)
  • 6:00pm-6:40pm Supper
  • 6:40pm-9:30pm Evening preps
  • 9:30pm-4:30am Resting.
